Binaural field-recording of my upstairs neighbors stomping from early in the morning until late in the afternoon. The recording is made in the bathroom, so, you can hear an interesting reverb and resonances.

A nice, clean, relaxing clip of running water, recorded at dusk in the seattle area. Recording the clip was not as relaxing as listening to it. I had to stoop down very uncomfortably for nine minutes until i got three minutes with no airplanes, and then i had to walk back to my aunt's house in the dark without a flashlight, though woods full of large spiders. . . A recording made in sedona, arizona on february 14, 2014, utilizing a zoom h4n field recorder. The recording was taken at night, around 11 pm, and is at a 45 degree angle, toward the sound source. The sound source is a flowing fountain at a resort.

This sound is of a loop of chains being manipulated, along with footsteps. It is meant to invoke a sense of imprisonment or creepiness, but you may use it as you please. It was taken using a zoom h4n field recorder. The chains were 1/4 inch thick, attached to picnic tables, the footsteps are of skate shoes on concrete. 2014.

Hitting a coffee can with a small rubber mallet. Cleaned for use in a sampler, and recorded with a zoom h6 with x/y 90 degree spread. Close range.

Dybby am chord made on modular synth. The 3 voice oscillator mfb osc-03 is tuned to an am chord (saw tooth wave) (tuned by ear. . . ). The sound is going to an uoki-toki polivoks filter in band pass mode and to a vca. From vca to zoom ms-70cdr tape echo effect and back to modular and into the ladik r-330 reverb. From reverb to mixer and out module to computer and audacity. And to you :-).

A short nature recording of a small stream with a tiny waterfall near lexington oklahoma. Made with a zoom f8 coupled to a core sound tetramic mounted in a rycote baby gag. Processed with vvaudio plug ins using reaper.

This is recorded at droescher's mill in cranford nj. The local dam used to power a waterwheel. The wheel is no longer in operation but it's still a nice relaxing spot. A little waterfall is in the foreground, a big waterfall (the dam) is in the background, and the sounds of traffic are audible faintly.
